offers a

Bereavement Support Group

 twice a year.

The spring group meets the six weeks following Spring Break.

The fall group meets the six weeks before the week of Thanksgiving.

The next group begins Wednesday, October 13th at 5:00 p.m.

There will be six one-hour sessions:  October 13 - November 17

We meet at the First United Methodist Church Library

1001 West 7^th Street, Plainview

Support Group Leaders are Carole Bell and Donna Isaacson

There is no charge for participation in the group.

This group is for anyone who has experienced a loss.  The loss might be something other than loss due to a death.  People grieve over the loss of relationships, health, jobs, security and identity in addition to the loss of a loved one to death.

This is a Bible-based approach to grief and recovery that includes information about the grieving process.

There will be time for discussion.  However, no one is required to talk if he/she would rather not.  Some people learn and heal just by listening.
